Beautiful rooms and amazing views. Even the pool in November was gorgeous looking. Only complaint is we were there for two nights and the room wasn't cleaned the after first night. Could have been an oversight.
We were most impressed with the staff and service at the Ocean Club Hotel. A minor maintenance issue was immediately addressed upon request. The beds are very comfy and rooms are clean. Convenient parking and beach access. As I unpacked at home I thought I had left a ring in the room and called immediately to ask that they be on the lookout for it. Minutes later I found it and called back. They had already alerted their entire hotel and maintenance staff which was very reassuring. They were happy to hear my news that I had found it. All in all, a great experience.
Again this would be acceptable but not at almost $600 per night. At these prices and value I would not rebook another stay.
The hotel elevator made getting to and from your room a unique undertaking.
Way to expensive for a place like this. $500+ a night and if you go to the bar they charge you for refills, you pay to use the umbrellas on the beach that they supply. Their restaurant is good but way overpriced. Pool area is very congested and the bar staff is they most unfriendly I have ever scene, and they have no observation skills. You could stand their easily for 15 minutes before they use eye contact. Very disappointed in this place. They have 2 elevators that are so slow your better off humping 5-6 flights of stairs with all the kids! On the positive side the rooms have a nice view and the beds are comfortable but the bathrooms are way to small and need a tub so the floor doesn't get soaked every time someone takes a shower. Lastly the most annoying thing was you have to pay $6 a day to go on the beach. The hotel should include a pass when you're paying these kind of prices. Will not ever rebook unless they were in the 200-300 range.
This hotel is quite nice and staff is accommodating but I feel it is VERY overpriced for the quality of the room and facilities offered. Convenient to the beach the hotel pool is old and outdated. No staff at the pool seeks to prevent families with young children from maintaining any sense of decorum for a hotel at this price point.
Was great to be dressed in shorts and at the tiki bar overlooking the pool in November! The staff was very professional as well as personable. Dinner at the hotel restaurant SeaSalt, was fabulous. We will definitely come back, and bring our friends.
The room was extremely small with a single desk chair that was flimsy at best. The air conditioning was quite loud and yes noisy.
