More than pet friendly, pet welcoming! Our back 1st floor efficiency had a private fenced patio
Everyone was so friendly at breakfast and we enjoyed seeing the doggies and speaking to the guests.

Great place to vacation with your pet!
Great place if you want to take your dogs. We had a nice room with a private entrance. We went out to a dog friendly restaurant on Beach Ave. and figured the next day hubby would go fishing at Higbee Beach. Unfortunately it was pouring all day and we decided to leave after a lovely breakfast, even though we would be charged. Dave, the owner graciously gave us a gift certificate for one free night to be used at anytime we would like.

Our favorite B+B in Cape May. We've stayed at Highland House with our dogs many times over the years because it's very cozy and charming. It feel like we're staying with friends. The owners love animals and are always eager to meet new ones. It's great for dogs because a great deal of thought went into gates around the property making it possible for you to let your dog out and still be separated from other dogs if you need to. Our recently renovated room was very spacious and had everything we needed including a second floor sun deck and mini kitchen. It's wonderful to wake up to the smell of coffee and a fresh-baked breakfast. Highland House's central location can't be beat. Most attractions in Cape May are within walking distance including the beach.
