My wife and I love to visit Cape May, and always stay at the Grand Hotel. The rooms are nice with a balcony view of the ocean. The breakfast buffet and dinner have always been good. The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool and is located across the street from the promenade. We walk the 1.4 miles to Sunset beach which offers a spectacular sunset daily.
Great place!! Beach is close. Cape May is one of my favorite places. Ballroom/large room upstairs is super nice. Would be a great spot for a wedding
Their family weekend specials make staying very affordable. The buffet breakfast at Hemingway's (located in the hotel) is delicious. With eggs, breakfast meats, oatmeal, pastries & more, there's sure to be something for everyone in your party.
Nice room, great views. There was a balcony so we could enjoy morning coffee while looking at the ocean. The only minus it's more than half a mile from downtown
I had a nice time here when I went to Cape May over the summer. The room was good, had a great view of the ocean and pool. I swam in the indoor pool instead of the one outside. The room was decent, had everything we needed. My only complaint is that there's not enough parking out front. If you don't get a spot in the front you have to park on the side with your vehicle out of sight and even there parking was full. I like to always keep an eye on my vehicle on vacation because people are dirt. Nice balcony outside the bedroom. Had fun.
My family has been coming down to Cape May and staying at The Grand for over 15 years. We love the heated indoor pool & hot tub. The rooms are clean & comfortable. We have stayed in a few different room types & always have enough room for our family of 5.
