Many times we've stayed here. It's truly a gem. Excellent atmosphere, great location, and the owner, Archie, is a WONDERFUL person. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Our stay at the Bedford was amazing. The staff keeps it impeccably clean. The owner is charming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The Bedford is located about a block from the beach and within a few blocks of great dining and pubs. Our room was elegant and filled with beautiful antiques but with air conditioning and a lovely modern bathroom that includes a large shower. Parking is tight but plenty of free parking on the street.
Beautiful old cape type house, nice clean room, comfy bed, breakfast was good but not gormet.
Love spending time at the Bedford Inn so quaint and comfortable. Brings you back in time with amazing Victorian collection of furnishings. Breakfast can't be beat...always a treat. Archie is the premier host always accommodating and giving his full attention to his guest.
Because of the man who owns & runs the Bedford. Wonderful caring Christian guy who has poured his life into this place. Just spend some time talking with Archie about the Bedford and you'll see what I mean.
