Reasonable price is an understatement. Courteous staff and management, extremely clean, in walking distance to everything you would want, and a great view.
Great little motel, we usually use this place when we drop by for the week, its right in front of the beach, they also have a pool and you don't need your car for the beach, the restaurant or shopping.
My wife and I and 2 other couples decided on a last minute weekend trip Cape May. We called over 30 b&b's, hotels, motels until we finally found rooms available at the Mt. Vernon Motel. It is located right across the street from the beach and is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Cape May. The management and staff were friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are well kept, clean and cheery with a beach theme. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is great. When we all checked out on Sunday we left my car at the motel and walked down the street for breakfast together before going our separate ways. Upon returning to the car there was a posted note on the window. I thought it was to ask me to remove my car since we had checked out but to my surprise the staff had found something we left in the room and had it in the office for us to pickup. What a nice extra effort they took to even look for our car and leave a note.
A great family-friendly spot. The staff is very nice and it 's in a good location. You can hit the beach or take a power walk on the boardwalk or, even, stroll to the downtown mall area.
Beautiful motel and amazing views of the ocean! The boardwalk is across the street from the motel. Quite accommodating. The rooms are very clean and bright. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. It's such a great bargain! I highly recommend Mt.Vernon motel.
