A NEAT PIECE OF HISTORY, A MUST SEE IF IN CAP MAY
Beautiful beach book ended by quaint seaside shops. Informative signage let's you know what exactly your looking at and the beach is clean, very well maintained. This was our 2nd trip here. Pretty place!
This wreck is a testament to why building boats of concrete never caught on. One of several experimental boats built of the more readily available material during the First World War, it survived the war and was bought to be used for a pier for the Cape May Ferry. While being moved to its dock location, it broke apart and sunk. Now, half of it sticks up out of the water and acts as a sanctuary for birds a few hundred feet off the beach. It definitely makes for an interesting set piece while enjoying the beach.
Beautiful sunset and good food also great shops. Will be back enjoy! Also a flag ceremony to honor our fallen heroes thank you for your services
Interesting piece of history, surrounded by two other wonderful cape may attrations.
