My boyfriend and I went there during happy hour (3-6 pm), where the food is really cheap, and drinks too if you're 21. In order to get the discounted prices you need to sit by the fish tank, at the bar, or at one of the high top tables. We sat by the fish tank and we had a wonderful time with great service and excellent food. Adrianna, our server, was nice, helpful, and timely when serving us. We ordered a margherita flat bread, crispy calamari, and the crispy fish tacos. This ended up being too much food for us but it was so delicious and now we have great leftovers!
We stopped at Fins yesterday for lunch and had an excellent experience. The restaurant is decorated in a modern but warm motif, the service is quick and friendly and the food is very good. I had the salmon sandwich special and my wife had the lobster salad, both of which were great. I was offered a side salad as a substitute for French fries and that was also very good. Instead of the usual iceberg lettuce, Fins provided a large side salad of Romaine lettuce, onions, cherry tomatoes and carrot slices - a very pleasant surprise. They also have a large number of craft beers on tap. Prices are moderate and the only negative is that they had no vegetable substitute for the usual side of French fries.

Many of you of be coming to Cape May NJ for years and you are familiar with the old Pilot House. This spot recently received a full upscale renovation to Fins Bar and Grille. This new hip spot brings a vibrant vibe to the old Pilot House Location with a complete re-model and fresh new menu.
we have eaten at many of cape may''s finest restaurants and found this to be the best meal yet. associated with psi and it shows. service was wonderful and prices very fair. you gotta try it!
We had a great meal and excellent service. We started with warm rolls and butter, then our appetizer of crab dip came out. The dip is served with freshly baked pita chips. I had the pork chop special, severed on mashed sweet potatoes. The chop was heavy and had beautiful grill marks. The chop was finished with a pear glaze. Other meals in our party were also excellent. They included the salmon and the seafood pie. No one wanted to share.

We dined at Fins two times this past winter slow season and were pleasantly surprised with a busy bar scene great food and ambiance and a minimal wait. This is a must stop in place while you stay in Cape May during the vacation season. Check out the huge 600 gallon saltwater fish tank with a cocktail bar while you chat with your guests and enjoy a cocktail.
