My wife and I ate here after shopping. The server, Iris was very nice, helpful and attentive. I had the coconut shrimp special and my wife had the crab cake special. The restaurant was clean and the service and food was great. We would definitely eat here again if we ever come back.

She'll be enamored with your kindness after encountering the waiter who throws your food at you while brashly announcing what is on your plate. Your woman will be stunned by your astute grammatical skills as you are able to reassure her that she indeed ordered the crab "cakes" and not the crab cake. She'll be swept off her feet by your amazing arithmetic abilities after the chef informs her that two crabs really only means one, even though she clearly ordered the "cakes". Don't miss out on this amazing restaurant that is so bad it will guarantee you're woman will recognize just how good you really are.
We were there on Saturday night of the Cape May Jazz Weekend. The bar was almost empty and we still had to wait a while for everything because the bar tender was too busy talking with her girlfriends. I think that meatball sandwiches are more tasty from Wawa.
Didn't have the food. We came for a midnight birthday party and the dueling atmospheres are.. interesting. This seems to be the place that the young-ins go to, as evidenced by the wanna-be club-like atmosphere you encounter when walking in. During the day, Carney's is an old man bar featuring a nice, long wooden surface bar and elegant dining room. At night, the black lights come on and the music gets cranked up. Way up. It'll probably be so crowded that you won't be able to move and drinks will be a $10 average. If you venture across to the newly renovated bar, you'll see bright lights and a 3 foot stage. This seems to be the only bar that features nightly entertainment until 2am. This place is great for singles and creeps.
Ate here for the first time. Fish tacos were excellent as was the early bird flat iron steak. Would recommend this and will be back. Great service too!
