Dress is casual but you're getting a place with table cloths and linen napkins. Yes, it's a bit pricier than the budget friendly places but you've got more to choose from and definitely worth it for a bit of a splurge.

Very nice set up eating on the porch. It's not actually along the water. It's pretty hard to see the water so far away, even if you sit on the right side of the porch. The food was pretty good. They do have a few vegan options! I ordered a beautiful bowl of fresh fruit and had tofu in place of an omelette with veggies and potatoes and used a little hot sauce. The service was great! Oh, and they have morning cocktails like mimosas!

TIP: They offer a Prix Fixe only from 5:00-5:30...$25 gets the appetizer, soup or salad, and an entree...the entree choices are pretty much their whole menu, not some limited offerings. And the appetizers are actually big enough for two.
A group of friends went for Cape May's restaurant week and had a wonderful time. Shana was our waitress; very attentive, funny, and only added to our enjoyment of the night. I would definitely visit again.

Aleathea's has been a favorite of ours for years! Beautiful restaurant & we epecially enjoy the enclosed porch dining that over- looks the beach across the street. We usually go for breakfast which have always been delicious & moderately priced. Had dinner once fantastic but pricey. Service has always been elegant. We'll be back next year!
