Across the Way offers really funky, cool, and unique things for the home. They're also affordable so browsing isn't just an exercise in frustration. I especially recommend the handmade jewelry in the front cases (much of it stunning, one-of-a-kind mineral pieces that are also remarkably affordable).
In my 10+ years of shopping at Cape May, this store is easily one of my faves, not just another touristy stop on the Mall!

Great store. Every time I come to Cape May I have to visit. Lots of cool purses, socks, vases, jewelry...It's hard to visit and not buy something. Thank you for being awesome!
The staff is extremely helpful when you want to make a purchase. However, I needed to return items and found the sales person to be rude and condescending. My family has been visiting Cape May for over 30 years. I have NEVER experienced such disrespect. I will not frequent the shop again. What disappointing customer service from such a quality town!
