It’s not disney

The Location is wonderful, the Beach is wonderful, the special front lawn activities are great, The Hundred year old historic Hotel is located at the end of a 3 street beach shopping mall, it is the heart of Town. While everything that can be updated has been updated, it still has the charm/quirks of a hundred year old building, it is part of the fun.

I was only here for one night, but loved my stay here. There's a real sense of history here--it's the oldest seaside resort in America, after all. Floors are charmingly off-kilter, rooms are super clean, and bathrooms are great. I wouldn't think I'd ever call out the toiletries at a hotel, but the furnished shampoo, soap, etc., are superb. To top it all off, the staff is professional, courteous, and efficient. Highly recommended.

The pool and front yard are beautiful. We took some drinks out and played cornhole before dinner. Inside bar was crowded pretty no matter what time it was, but we never had an issue being served. Had breakfast at the restaurant at the bottom of the hotel and it was one of the best breakfast we've ever had. Room was clean but we had an awful view of some industrial unit. Bathroom was almost as big as the bed area! Staff was friendly and helpful. Caters to an older more affluent crowd. We may not stay again but we'll definitely come back for food and drinks.

There’s nothing like when someone gives you thier word and doesn’t follow through then they dance around as to why it really disgusts me, I thk this place is getting to big for itself it needs a little humility when serving customers whom pay thier salaries

I stayed at Congress Hall for a night back in April 2016. I was there for a conference in Cape May and conveniently booked this location by the shore. Because of the conference I didn't have much time to enjoy the beach. That said, I was pleasantly pleased with my experience, stay, the friendly staff, parking, and quick location to the shore. Next time, I'll have to bring the family! Again, I has there in April and I have no idea what parking is like in the summer, but, they have reserved parking, so, doubt it's a problem.

Update: came back in season and the hostess at Blue Pig Tavern was the most unpleasant person I've ever encountered in Cape May. I brought guests with me to experience what I think is an amazing brunch and now I'm unsure if I'll return. Waitress was awesome but still left with a bad taste in my mouth from the hostess.

240.00 a night in the winter???
