The Washington street mall is a beautiful architectural setup. It's a warm cozy clean street mall with a plethora of shopping places. You can find food, clothes, items and many thinbgs to do here. I haven't seen a movie theatre here but it's a good place to hangout. The night time has a place well light with a beautiful park around. It's a pretty beautiful place. You can also get a horse carriage driven transport around here.
I love this place! All of the shops are so clean and fun! Not a single store will disappoint and you're so close to the water! Great for a weekend away or even just a day trip!
I love going to this place! It has such a nice vibe and feel. It's great if you are staying at a near by bed and breakfast and can walk here because parking is a nightmare. Even off season can be challenging. Parking used to be free here, now it's metered parking. I hate metered parking! The shops here are unique and the restaurants are good.
This several block long, touristy walking mall has all the shops you'd want and more. In season its crowded with tourists buying everything from T-Shirts to classy attire to fudge to books and more. I've been here dozens of times and still go back most times I'm visiting Cape May. While I rarely buy anything here anymore I'm always up for the Catholic Church's car raffle and I've found a nice little collectible coin shop recently.
I'm usually not a city person but this area of Washington D.C. is impressive! Been here a few times and always enjoy all there is to do. I know so many talk of the Vietnam veterans memorial but I love the Korean War memorial. The oversized soldiers on patrol bring back memories and help me appreciate where they were. This is an area that all Americans should experience some time in their life.
